THE SMALL THINGS ARE REALLY THE BIG THINGS
You won’t always be able to hold your baby that way or bend down and have your son at eye level. Your little girl won’t always want you to play with her hair like that and their hand won’t fit in yours that way for very long. Let’s take in the present.

I have had 2 beautiful mini shoots from Sheena, and multiple interactions at The Family Space’s various events over this last year- always so full of warmth and makes any and every photo opportunity stress free. My babe HATES to pose for photos, far too free wilded but Sheena has captured some absolutely beautiful and natural shots that I honestly can’t thank her enough for.
We will continue to come to your mini shoots and would 10/10 recommend to anyone. I was really blown away by the level of intimacy, & care Sheena was able to give us individually at both shoots and how much ground she was able to cover in such a short time. We’ve always come away more than thrilled with our photos, and can’t wait for our future shoots already! Such a skill to make very unconfident people feel so comfortable in such a usually ‘awkward’ scenario, thank you xx

What is your style?
I have a non-traditional style. I consider myself more of a lifestyle photographer. My sessions consist of authentic and staged poses. I’m a lover of details big and small. I gravitate to capturing the more natural, candid moments- laughing, playing, cuddling and hugging.
How long is a session?
Motherhood sessions typically last for 1 hour.
Which locations do you use?
I suggest locations based on the style session you’re trying to achieve. Are you interested in, grassy field, Cornish beaches? Perhaps somewhere different like an apple orchard, greenhouse or tree farm. Once thats decided I have several spots to recommend.
What time would we have an outdoor session?
Outdoor sessions are scheduled 1-2 hours before the sunsets. This is when lighting is best. The sun is low, soft and luminous.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Cloudy weather is not a problem. However, if it rains, snows, hails, etc. I will contact you as soon as possible to postpone or reschedule.
What should we wear?
I always suggest to keep things simple, neutral colours that blend well together. A pop of colour on one of the family members can really enhance the photo. The main thing is to be comfortable and enjoy yourselves. These are your photographs that will sit on the walls of your family home.

Eek..I’m excited to share them! A sneak peek will be posted on my Facebook page or Instagram feed within the first week. Your entire gallery will be completed within 2-3 weeks. I promise they’ll be worth the wait.

How do I book?
Simply fill out our contact form, and we’ll be in touch! A PayPal invoice will then be sent to collect the deposit. Receipt of payment guarantees the date/time allotted for you. The rest will be collected again via PayPal a week before your session.
